IBADAN VISITATION: “CAN ANYBODY STOP ME FROM VISITING ANYWHERE IN NIGERIA?” — GUMI

Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, has reacted to the outrage trailing his recent visit to Ibadan, Oyo State.

Speaking on the controversy surrounding alleged Islamisation concerns, Gumi maintained that nobody has the right or power to stop him from travelling anywhere within Nigeria.

He insisted that his movement across the country is lawful and within his constitutional rights, dismissing criticisms linked to his visit.

The statement has continued to generate mixed reactions across social and political circles.
