BREAKING: Woman Who Allegedly Staged Own Kidnap Found in Delta Hotel with Lover

A married woman identified as Oluchi has allegedly been discovered in a hotel in Delta State after reportedly staging her own kidnapping and demanding a ransom of ₦50 million from her family.

According to preliminary reports, the woman allegedly conspired with her lover to fake the abduction in an attempt to extort money. However, security operatives reportedly traced her whereabouts and found her in a hotel facility with the said accomplice.

Four individuals have also been arrested in connection with the incident as investigations continue into the alleged fake kidnapping plot.

Authorities say the case highlights the growing concern over misuse of kidnapping reports for financial gain, which continues to place emotional and financial strain on families and security agencies.

The Delta State Police Command is expected to provide further details as investigations progress.
