Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command have successfully rescued five kidnapped victims in Byazhin community, Abuja, following a coordinated security operation.

According to reports, the operation led to the neutralization of two suspected kidnappers, while two others were arrested during the encounter. The victims were safely recovered without further harm.

Security sources confirmed that the rescue mission was carried out after credible intelligence guided officers to the kidnappers’ hideout. The swift response reportedly disrupted the criminal gang and prevented further harm to the abducted victims.

The FCT Police Command stated that efforts are ongoing to track down other members of the syndicate who may have fled the scene.

Authorities have assured residents of intensified security operations across vulnerable communities in Abuja to curb kidnapping and other related crimes.
